The water park was a hit with the kids and offered a lot of fun. Unfortunately, our room was not very clean, and we faced issues with housekeeping. The pools were often closed, which was disappointing.

The suite had potential. It provided privacy for my family, and the balcony offered a nice ocean view. the issues overshadowed any positive aspects. Upon checking in, we encountered uncleaned rooms, an alarming lack of maintenance, and an inefficient staff. The amenities were outdated, the hot tubs non-functional, and the pools dirty. Our suite was noisy, with visible pests. Wi-Fi service was nonexistent, and housekeeping didn’t check in at all. While the front desk staff was amiable, their inability to address our concerns was disheartening. The property requires serious attention and investment to restore any semblance of quality. With such matters, I won’t be returning or recommending this location to anyone.

This hotel puts you within walking distance of fantastic attractions, with the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade only about 2.6 km away, and the famous SkyWheel just a short stroll of almost 3 km, making it a breeze to discover local shops and dining options like Pan American Pancake & Omelet, just 300 meters away, and Captain D's Seafood Kitchen, under a half-kilometer away; while the pools could definitely use some maintenance and clarity on operating hours, the overall access to the beach and fun nearby destinations makes it a great base for city walking and exploration.

The hotel had a fantastic pool and the kids loved the amusement park nearby, especially the slingshot and helicopter ride. our experience was marred by several issues. Our room had a strong mold smell, and we faced a serious delay in getting assistance when we got locked inside due to a stuck door. Cleanliness was a concern too; there was broken glass outside, which cut my daughter’s foot, and we found cockroaches in one room. While some aspects, like the beds, were decent, the lack of communication and maintenance really overshadowed the fun.

I had an absolute blast at this vibrant hotel! The lazy river and aqua park were such an exciting way to spend my days soaking up the sun. The friendly staff made sure we felt right at home, and the sauna was the perfect way to unwind after all the fun!

The ocean view from the balcony takes your breath away. The staff is friendly and helpful and the pool area is nice and relaxing.
Seriously, no ice machine? That's a slight ice-olation.

Welcoming staff, welcoming atmosphere with free wi-fi that allowed me to stay connected during my trip and a convenient location that made exploring the nearby attractions incredibly easy.

The room was not comfortable. The bed felt outdated and uncomfortable, making it hard to sleep. The temperature control was inconsistent, leading to discomfort during the night. The bathroom was notably unclean, with black mold around the tub and on the ceiling. Stains marked the walls and floors, disrupting any sense of cleanliness. Noise levels were noticeable, especially from the pool area, further detracting from relaxation. The amenities looked like they hadn’t been updated in decades, creating an overall feeling of neglect in the room. the experience was far from satisfactory.

The Sea Mist connects me quickly and easily to various attractions. Their facilities were great, especially the long lazy river and the fun water park. The Arcade even has an air compressor for when you need to inflate your floats - so convenient!
Nothing like staying in a hotel that feels like an abandoned place.

The room didn’t match the pictures, and it was filthy with stains everywhere. Plus, the Wi-Fi never worked, making it impossible to stay connected. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

Tons of cool activities for kids, from arcades to rides. They have great food options that even picky eaters will enjoy.

Despite some disappointments, we appreciated the location as it provided a little view of the ocean, adding a touch of romance to our getaway. The prompt attention to maintenance issues, such as the non, working microwave and refrigerator, was a plus.
The room fell short of expectations. The cleanliness was lacking, and the amenities were subpar.

I chose Sea Mist Oceanfront Resort for its proximity to Radical Ropes Adventure Park, which I was eager to visit. The adjacent Three Steps Down Grille and Tavern pleasantly surprised me with its delicious dinner options and cozy atmosphere.

My friends and I had a blast at the water park and Wahoo pools at the beach! We also hit up some mini golf and joined in on the epic karaoke and game nights. Plenty of activities to keep us entertained all day long!
Wish they had more nighttime events for us party-loving teens to keep the fun going late into the night! .

Had a relaxing time at the beach, just steps away from the hotel. The location was super convenient for business meetings in the area. Enjoyed the easy access to the beach for some downtime after work.
The facilities were outdated and in need of maintenance. The cleanliness of the rooms left a lot to be desired, and the staff's attitude was not very welcoming.

So we stayed at Sea Mist recently, and let me tell you, it was quite the mixed bag. the hot water was on point, and the pressure in the showers was great. Having two bathrooms was also a plus, making it easier for everyone to get ready in the morning. But, man, the downsides were pretty glaring. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Mold growing in the bathrooms, unemptied trash cans, and even blood stains on the walls - yikes. The outdated furniture and uncomfortable beds didn't help either. And don't even get me started on the lack of basic amenities like proper kitchen utensils and a non-functioning phone in the room. On top of that, the state of the pools and water park was disappointing. Dirty, closed slides, and some areas were simply unusable. The lack of upkeep was evident throughout the property, from uneven sidewalks to the broken toilet seat. And the customer service? Well, let's just say it was lackluster at best. Sea Mist fell far below our expectations. It's a shame because with some improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service, it could have been a decent place to stay. But based on our experience, I wouldn't recommend it for a future visit.

Our family had a blast at the lively resort with Wahoo Water Park, the Castle, and Wet Willie's Pool. The kids loved the themed nights, especially magic night!
For dads, having more towel provisions by the pool would be great.

I had such a great stay at Sea Mist Oceanfront Resort. the location was perfect, with easy access to dining options. the spacious Oceanview Suite had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen. the housekeeper was friendly and courteous, making my experience even more enjoyable.

We had a lovely stay at a beachfront property in Myrtle Beach. The Driftwood building we stayed in was peaceful and well-maintained. The staff, especially Christopher, went above and beyond to accommodate our requests. The indoor and outdoor pools provided plenty of options for relaxation. The kitchenette in our spacious and clean room was a convenient feature. The affordable water park was a hit with the kids. it was a great vacation experience.
The smell in the Tides building elevators was unpleasant and the hallways echoed it.

the grounds were in good shape and the room was clean. stayed in the palms, and the kitchen was nice sized with a nice assortment of pots and plates. the indoor pool was one of the warmest we've had when staying there, and that's a reason to stay here. definitely recommend!!!

My stay at Sea Mist Oceanfront Resort was enjoyable despite a few hiccups. The ocean view from the balcony was not as expected, but the Waterpark made up for it. I'll recommend this hotel.
